Lead Seal Double Slip Liner Hanger

The RIGGER ENGINEERING double slip lead seal hanger is used, as with a double slip plain hanger, where the weight of the liner exceeds 80,000 pounds. By deffinition most production liners are relatively short and light so the double slip hanger is not very common in this application. It has all of the same features as the single slip version with the added plus of being useful for extra heavy liners. Other types of seals can be substituted for lead. Neoprene rubber and EPDM rubber are common. Viton or aflast are other types of high temperature rubber seals with different properties but also tend to be expensive alternatives. All of these seals have pressure ratings of about 3,000 psi.
