Plain Adapter

The RIGGER ENGINEERING plain adapter is a simple, cost effective method of installing a liner where it can be placed on the bottom of the well. The body of the adapter centralizes the liner in the hole and is fluted to allow circulation during the cementing operation. The adapter can also be run in conjunction with a bottom hole packer in casing repair jobs. Installation is quite simple. The liner is carried in on the adapter and set on bottom. The drill pipe is rotated to the right 12 – 15 turns to disengage from the liner string. Now the liner can be cemented, if desired, and the setting tool brought back to the surface.
