The RIGGER ENGINEERING tubing swivel is typically installed between the bottom of the kelly bar and the cup mandrel or slick joint (stinger). It prevents unnecessary rotation of the wiper plug and/or cups, which could lead to shear pin/screw damage or wear to the cups during drill pipe rotation. ‘O’ rings installed in the tool insure high-pressure integrity.
